The Environment

Aurora believes in sustainable development, and therefore develops environmental programs aimed at minimizing the environmental impact that can be caused by food production.

Care for the environment comes straight from Aurora's rural roots, being formed by families of small rural producers.

In addition to twice winning the Fritz Müller prize and also the CNI Award for ecology granted by the National Industry Confederation, Aurora is the only company to have won the Ecology Expression Award eight times. These successes have not come by chance, but through recognition of its intentions and actions for environmental conservation.

Aurora carries out many actions aimed at environmental care, including: the company's recycling program; all oil and also all the clinical waste from its health centers being sent for recycling or due disposal by companies licensed by the environmental bodies; the reforestation program; and continuous work to reduce water consumption and industrial residues.
